OBARIMA (aw-beh'-ree-mah) is the name of our workshop and related nhoma (book) defining Afurakani (African~Black) Manhood for young Afurakani males from 13 years old to 30+ years old.
Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) Men and Women bring your sons.
In this workshop we introduce a comprehensive set of principal values defining what it means to be an Afurakani obarima (African man). These principal values and their functional applications are detailed in our publication: OBARIMA Afurakani Manhood. This publication is free for all who register and is distributed during the workshop. Participants are also introduced to a self-employment opportunity in connection with selling the publication OBARIMA.
We have taught these principal values of OBARIMA in various settings and have seen the eagerness with which Afurakani males embrace them--especially those whom are mis-labeled "at-risk" by this society.
The principal values of OBARIMA are rooted in Amansesew, Amammere and Nanasom: Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit Nationbuilding/Restoration, Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit Ancestral Culture and Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit Ancestral Religion. They function as a synthesis of the values incorporated through our: PTAH SASETEM
Registration for the workshop is free. Because of space limitations registration is required.
Registration is open to Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People) only.
Please contact us for inquiries, registration, upcoming workshops or to schedule OBARIMA in your region.
